Preparing for your first Umrah: a practical checklist

Umrah is a journey of a lifetime. A little preparation makes it calm and focused.

Documents

• Passport valid for at least six months
• Vaccination certificates as required by Saudi authorities
• Printed copies of your visa, tickets and hotel vouchers

Packing

• Two sets of Ihram for men; comfortable modest clothing for women
• Comfortable sandals and a small bag for shoes at the masjid
• Personal medicines with prescriptions
